    In the aftermath of , 137,000 people are at risk and 41,000 people have been displaced in . One of the affected areas is Mahanoro, Atsinanana region. Over 3,300 people have been displaced and are being hosted in 30 accommodation centres.

    The  just released CHF  321,391  for the  to support their response to assist communities affected by Tropical Storms and Cyclones. This 2nd allocation for this operation, summing CHF 750,000  and being currently scaled up on an Emergency Appeal.

    Health conditions, material losses, destruction of habitat and livelihood… These aspects have been assessed by the amongst the 9091 people displaced after the heavy rains in Antananarivo, . The gaps will be addressed within the national response.

    There's huge value in reaching communities with anticipatory action before roads are damaged by floods. and were able to support some anticipatory actions, and are hoping that lessons learned from will support scale up in future.

    Unstoppable! The anxiety to deliver humanitarian aid to the affected people is stronger than to wait for government to fix the cut off road. volunteers carries relief items for timely delivery to the displaced people living in camps. Over 455,000 people affected.
