If Redditors rallying GameStop is unacceptable market manipulation, what would you call it when greedy Wall Street bankers gambled away our entire economy in 2008 and faced no consequences?

Your reminder that Facebook's new Oversight Board now reviewing Facebook's decision to ban Trump is accountable to Mark Zuckerberg, not to the public. FB amplified and magnified Trump's lies and hate for 4 years, creating a monster. It must not allow the monster back.

A 0.1% tax on Wall Street trades would generate $777 billion over a decade. That's enough to end homelessness in the United States 38 times over.

Folks, this is not complicated. If you incite violence against your colleagues, you do not belong in Congress. Expel Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Impeaching Donald Trump isn't about politics. It's about defending our democracy. Don't let anyone tell you differently.

BREAKING: Bipartisanship won’t increase the effectiveness of the vaccine or put money in the pockets of Americans struggling to make ends meet.

If we fail to hold those responsible for the insurrection at the Capitol accountable, it will breed only more dangerous rhetoric in the future.

Btw, how can we expect a jury to convict Trump if some of the jurors are complicit in his crimes?

After four years of tax cuts, deregulation, and bailouts for the wealthy and corporations, it's time to invest in the American people.

If wages had kept pace with productivity gains since 1968, the current minimum wage would be more than $24 an hour. That’s today. Not 5 years from now. Today.

Why is the GOP bucking Biden? If he’s is successful, Americans’ faith in democracy might begin to rebound. If he helps build a new economy of green jobs with good wages, even Trump’s angry white working-class base might come around. It’s all about politics.

Reminder that the real rate of joblessness is far worse than the official rate because (1) people who have stopped looking for work aren't counted and (2) people who work only a few hours a week are counted.

If there were ever a time for bold government, it is now. Covid, joblessness, poverty, raging inequality and our last chance to preserve the planet are together creating an existential inflection point.

Trump didn't just incite insurrection on Jan 6. He incited it before the election when he predicted "massive fraud," incited it after Election Day when he insisted he won despite all evidence, and is still inciting it by claiming the election was stolen. He's a continuing danger.

Please stop talking about Biden's plan as a "stimulus." It has nothing to do with stimulating the economy. It's a survival plan to help Americans endure COVID.
