Frankly, if our government was well run and able to educate all of our children, reduce poverty and have a financially sustainable retirement system, our taxes would be half the current rate. A 12% flat tax would be possible too.

It’s time to pass the Social Security Fairness Act. Teachers often get zero survivors benefits due to GPO and WEP but congress does nothing even though the bill has bipartisan support. Please support this.
