If America’s distribution of income had remained the same as it was in the three decades following World War II, the bottom 90 percent of Americans would now be $50,000,000,000,000 richer. Let that sink in.

That's only an extra $185,000 per capita. I'm sure a much greater windfall will be trickling down any moment now

So weird, what could've happened around 1971 that could trigger such a phenomenon 🤔... Oh I know THE NIXON SHOCK and the rise of inflation driven by the Fed! Capitalism is not the problem and socialism isn't the solution Bitcoin fixes thishttps://wtfhappenedin1971.com/

I'm wondering when 90% of Americans will catch on that continuing to Vote for those who take money from those who control it, are why we are in this predicament. The "American Dream" is alive and well in other countries. Meanwhile in America, we have foodbank lines miles long.

This is what happens when "nothing fundamentally will change" meets neoliberal capitalism & becomes the mantra for the duopoly, which itself is but a puppet of corporate & oligarchical power, whose entire existence revolves around extricating every last ounce of wealth from us.

The New Deal was too much social democracy for the ruling class, and so a Better Deal, one benefiting only them, became the rule, not the exception. Market shocks, economic recessions, near depressions and typical late stage capitalism became machinations of looting the People.
