When I graduated college in 1968, the typical corporate CEO got 20 times the pay of ave. worker. When I became labor secretary in 1993, the ratio was 61-to-1. According to a report released today, the ratio is now 320-to-1. Yep. America went off the gold standard.. Or the ability to convert dollars to gold went away. We went full fiat currency where the federal reserve has a license to print fiat currency at will. Look at the federal reserve balance sheet now. They are printing to buy JUNK Bonds!

In a system where there's zero incentive to decrease executive pay and no punishment when it's clearly excessive (to an end where employee benefits and pay are threatened), are we surprised?
