.@AOC is right. There are 5 ways to accumulate a billion dollars in America: 1) Profiting from a monopoly 2) Insider-trading 3) Political payoffs 4) Fraud 5) Inheritance None of these are earned or have anything to do with being successful in the supposed free market.https://twitter.com/Kanew/status/1219406717726994432 …

Dell was built with diligence and innovation and minimal outside capital. Super scrappy and constantly looking for ways to improve efficiency. A just-in-time manufacturing pioneer offering one of the first dynamic e-commerce configurators #nojoke #startups

There is one option not included that makes up for most of the oversight. 6) Labor exploitation They are all guilty of this. Even Jordan, who wouldn't have had his success without a TEAM to work with, but took a disgusting lion's share of profit for himself.

If you made $5000 every day seven days a week since 1776, you STILL would not have a billion dollars. The day I saw this statistic is the day I started believing billionaires should not exist!!

Exponential growth is extraordinarily powerful. One could start a successful business, sell it at 30 for $10M, and invest it making an 8% return for 60 years to become a billionaire.
