Democratic socialism has as much in common with Marxist socialism as lifesaving surgery has to do with unnecessary surgery. Words matter. Omitting words matters. Why would you ever use the word socialism by itself? Calling it just “socialism" undermines its viability.

Name me one socialist country that is one you would like to live in....one based on socialist principles that ignores and rejects capitalism. Just one...I dare you.

Reich did not at any point state or remotely suggest that we “reject capitalism.” But if by “socialist country” you mean those that utilize many or all of the policies he actually discusses in this video? Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, & countries all throughout Europe.
