Facebook, Amazon, and Google have vast power over our economy and democracy. They’ve bulldozed competition and tilted the playing field in their favor. Time to break up these companies so they don’t have so much power over everyone else.

The real “power grab” isn’t . It’s McConnell and his enablers blocking a bill that would make it easier for millions of Americans to vote.

Under Trump, GM has received more than $600m in federal contracts, plus $500m in tax breaks. Chairman and CEO Mary Barra raked in almost $22m in total compensation in 2017 alone. Once again, it's socialism for the rich, harsh capitalism for American workers.

So let me get this straight: The Trump administration can't keep track of the children they've separated from their parents at the border, but are tracking journalists who report on the border?

On one side: Lobbyists lobbying to protect lobbyists. On the other side: The American people demanding a say in our democracy. This is the clearest example in years of the battle between the people and the powerful.

The Commerce Department reports today that the United States posted a $891.2 billion merchandise trade deficit for 2018, the largest in the nation’s 243-year history. So much for "America First."

In early 2017 US intelligence found that Putin had interfered in US election, and warned of continued interference. Yet US still has no policy to counter Putin. Now, incredibly, Trump is gutting the task forces established to come up with such a policy.

“The Dems are trying to win an election in 2020 that they know they cannot legitimately win!" Trump tweeted yesterday. Be warned, friends. He’s laying the groundwork: If he loses, the election can’t be legitimate.

Where did Trump's tax cuts go? Last year, corporations spent more money on buybacks than they did on new investments in their business, according to a new report by Citigroup. So much supply-side nonsense about unleashing the "job creators."
