    Also, because if you have a gun and want to use it effectively to defend yourself against an attacker, you want to practice on a target that is shaped like an attacker who will most likely be shaped like a human.

    At a gun range, a common used target is this. Many people would say that they go to the range to let out anger. How come that anger is let out on a target that is shaped like a human? Because guns are used & made for one purpose only: killing.
