The proofs and statements I crammed were not in Anki. For a small minority of them I had cards like "what's the sketch of the proof for...?".
Had to cram a bunch of short proofs and statements for the Real and Functional Analysis test. The course is vast, I ended up with 80 of these flashcards. Did some short term spaced repetition of the material. (This on top of >1000 Anki flashcards) Some thoughts.pic.twitter.com/QAbQKot5gn

While getting through the proofs with fresh eyes during the cramming, those Anki cards saved me some time. But for memorizing all the steps of the proof they weren't as helpful as I thought they'd be.

I don't think I would have been able to prepare as well as I did for the test without this short term spaced repetition (don't have the score yet though).

Daily repetition was on avg 1h 20min for the last 12 days before the test. (Was not logging before that, but started cramming around 20 days before the test, initial reviews were shorter, less material in the system).

I did not enjoy this. I really had to force myself to go through reviews. In the last three days, reviewing gave me headaches, I seldom get headaches and I was sleeping 8h each night. I'm pretty sure it were the long (>2h, with breaks) reviews.

I think I will do this kind of short-spaced-repetition-cramming-thing for other tests coming up. Without doubts, it was effective. More importantly I won't remotely reach 80 cards for other courses.
