This is appalling. I spoke to Professor "Can Von Berra" of the University of Madeitallup and she confirmed this phenomena to be true. Its all to do with jealousy over the differering sizes of pilot watches apparently.

You laugh but I once saw an F15 blast a poor old P51 right off the runway boat with jet blast. There wasn’t a thing I could do to help.
