Good use of the budget there. Also, when not on active service they can double-up as dustbins, thereby keeping our green & pleasant land all green & pleasant!

Not unless they're repainting them. People won't be able to find them in the countryside to use them as bins. Just stick them at junctions 24/7 to enforce the cycle lanes, and at the same time fire their cannon at anyone speeding, going through red lights, or riding on pavements
