I think the RAF ought to be careful about over-using word "scramble", meaning to quickly mobilise to respond to a threat such as intercepting enemies, to describe every single departure of their jets. A jet "scrambled" over Kent, which caused a sonic boom will cause undue concernhttps://twitter.com/RAF_Luton/status/1352573821849645056 …

Hi Sophie, We've scrambled the media team (who had already left for the weekend) to discuss the use of the word Scramble in future tweets

Wouldn't have been entertaining if I said Am trying out comedy material: why do RAF always say 'scramble' even when flying in to break-up lockdown party?" missing the firing 612 shots if it didn't say "journalist" in my profile. Sad for rude few. We all need a laugh and join in.

Hi Sophie, Agreed we all need a laugh, it is a shame when a few get rude to people replying to us, when we spot it we block them. :-)

Yes, could do but in fact better to have whole picture rather than make it nice and neat. Then people who see it can recognise the party poopers. (Not RAF Luton of course).

Funny how the party poopers (again, not talking about you RAF Luton) have only a few followers.
