        I must correct you, basket makers were only used on the fine components, such as flaps and other control surfaces. Hedge layers built the actual fuselages.

        Those buggers at RAF Cardington near Bedford kept pinching all the metal to build airships... One day the MOD will declassify the role airships played defeating the Germans in WW2, it is said every time Cardington lengthened the airships they shorten the war.
