Something fishy about this photo. How come the missile is not lined up with the centre of the missile launcher on the front of the wing pod? I hardly dare suggest it @RAF_Luton, but... you haven't Photoshopped this one, have you???!!!

You mean the big vertical fan sort of things? Those aren’t missile launchers, they’re experimental fuel scoops to allow the aircraft to swoop down low over an oil refinery and pick up a load of jet fuel.

You have to be over 18 to buy that in ASDA.
-
But ASDA only stock them when we celebrate Guy Gibson Day in early November.

Good to see a mention of Whole Beach in Lincolnshire. Did you hit any geese?

Only spruce ones!

Looks like Thin Albert, the slimmed down fighter version, disguised with a suspicious nose code. Well done,

Oh come on! It's completely the wrong shape for a Paceway! That is the Bell X15 being launched for it's record breaking cross Atlantic flight in 1937.
-
I hate to correct you, but nobody has yet been able to fly across the Atlantic, it’s way too big.

Does anyone have a suggestion as which type of aircraft this photo could have been taken from? I’m at a loss myself.
#RAF_Luton -
A Melbourne I think.
