Fact of the Day: The B17 Bomber (pictured over Scotland a few weeks ago) can carry/drop up to 100 semi-nuclear bombs, hidden within each load of bombs is a Eurovision Typhoon fighter jet that is dropped amongst the bombs to escort them to their target #RAFLuton #AvGeekpic.twitter.com/eNlvIbBp9z

Surely that's mid air re-arming and the Eurovision Typhoon fighter is just herding the new bombs aboard .

This is where the phrase "you only get an oo with typhoon" comes from.

The B-17 carpet bombing methods are fascinating and surprising how much damage a rolled up Axminster wool-mix can do.

I notice it says test i-e on the Bombay doors. In English it means 'this is a test' Good to see the RAF being inclusive of Roman speaking people living on the bombing range.
