        The Scots invented flight when on 31st Sep 1892 Gp Captain James “Jock” McStrap flew the McDonnell Douglas biplane through the mountain pass now known as the MacLoop. As can be seen, to this day every pilot flying through it leaves a love heart in cloud as a mark of respect
