        Very similar, but the Rafale is a pure jet bomber, you may be confusing it with the development variant, the Raffle. Remember the Vulcan was fitted with paraffin blow rocket motors as also fitted to the Leyland Kraken high speed fire engine.

        That's technology for you, and stealth. Because of super efficient low fuel burn after burners the planes are now 5 times bigger using only half the fuel of there predecessors. Amazing, simply amazing.

        When you say 'driver' rather than 'pilot', you seem to imply that the craft will never get off the ground. (You notice I did not say 'AIRcraft.'
