The tricycle undercarriage quite clearly shows this is in fact a CH46 Sea Knight. I expect better.

That's not a tricycle undercarriage though, it's a unicycle undercarriage but most trainee pilots need stabilisers while they learn to land single-wheel to stop falling over.
