Last years winner - Flt Lt Phil Aformin - did it in a refurbished De Havilland Hunter he picked up off EBay. It was being sold off at it was gate guardian at RAF Rochdale which was shut down and sold off to B and Q. All it needed was an ejector seat and altimeter.
