The helicopter was invented by Prof Jon Kraven. The Air Ministry initially ridiculed the concept of a rotary wing, but he was finally allowed a 5 minute slot Mondays - Friday at teatime to present his ideas, and it become known as Jon Kraven’s New Round & Round
