Fact of the Day: The Mk1 B2 stealth fighter has no undercarriage to save on weight. This meant it had to be carried everywhere by a team of 176 engineers. For take off the team would run to a speed of 88mph #Teamwork #RAFLuton #AvGeekpic.twitter.com/99DXVzfSfH

176 engineers, running at 88mph, that would generate 1.21Giga Watts ?!?!?!?

... which explains why the Mk1 was often at the right place but never at the right time.

Officially 88 mph but the real spread of 40mph was kept top secret even from the runners

Also, to reach take off speed, EACH person would have to run at 0.5 mph to attain a "collective velocity" of 88 mph, which means less fatigue for everyone. Absolutely ingenious!!
