You posted the wrong photo. I can only see the Concorde Fighter.

The proper Flying Army term for the 'nose' is 'conk', hence the name Concorde.

You are mistaken. That's the tail mounted launch fighter model that they trialled before the war. I think the same guy went on to design the concorde fighter so your confusion is understandable.
