Hi Jason, RAF Luton has a very large lake, the Lake Army Defence Squadron was set up back in 1672 but it wasn't until 1953 that the LADS got boats to patrol the lake on. LADS now has over 200 boats in its squadron, including 16 runway boats and 35 underwater ships
