The only people who shit on GCP are people who have only ever used AWS.

Many developers I work with and meet are open minded and willing to try other platforms. When I do see this "AWS or bust" attitude, more often than not, it's from people with some sort of stake in AWS, like certs, who don't like the idea of employers wanting non-AWS.

I have yet to use many of the features on GCP, but BigQuery is amazing and the pricing makes sense for those who don't want to spend on what they don't use.
