I think "regulating" crypto lends credibility to the sham.
Trading crypto is no different than trading comic books, Hummel figurines or whatever the next fad is.
It deserves no special consideration or assistance from US authorities.

All this fud, keeping the general population away and scared while the major crops and govts adopt, diversify and own it all. Guess what, some of us are here for the people and we aint leaving
