I see you've got the stereotypical sound bites all lined up . . . . try doing some rational thinking outside your comfort zone.

It was you who brought in trucks and pink clothing. The differences in emotion expression between very young boys & girls is an observed fact, not a gender stereotype.

"Significant . . gender differences were found overall, with girls showing more positive emotions (g = −.08) and internalizing emotions (e.g., sadness, anxiety, sympathy; g = −.10) than boys, and boys showing more externalizing emotions (e.g., anger; g = .09) than girls."

1/ You realize there is such a thing as gender atypicality? That traits, even if some are biologically influenced, occur along a bell curve, & some people are on the "tail" of the curve? Gender-atypical tots are more likely to grow up to be homosexual. Buthttps://4thwavenow.com/2018/08/07/research-evidence-gender-atypical-tots-likely-to-become-gay-or-lesbian-not-trans/ …

@Quibilah1 3/ The second tweet by "trans mum" in this thread (that 30-40% of lesbians may "really" be trans) reveals (more boldly) the same implicit attitude that ppl who are atypical for their sex are somehow NOT their sex. This is the illogical heart of trans ideology.1 reply 4 retweets 13 likes -
4/ Pure social constructionists will argue that every gendered trait shown by a young child is learned. Plenty of research (like the Li and Hines study cited above) indicates there's a bio component to behaviors (such as emotion expression). But it does NOT follow that...

5/ Children who demonstrate atypical gender traits are therefore in the wrong body. Norms, means, and averages say NOTHING about an individual child. Traits/personality/behaviors are properties of the brain, and a brain is an integral whole with the rest of the body.

No it doesn’t. But that doesn’t justify steam rollering over the small proportion who are genuinely trans atypical.
