Apparently sharing my experience parenting an ROGD teen (who no longer believes she's trans) spreads a "dangerous narrative" & is "hate speech". My daughter (& the many others like her) are politically incorrect. I'm urged to stay silent so I don't harm trans people. /1

Meanwhile, so many parents who are encouraging their children-- including preschoolers-- to transition are parading them in front of TV cameras and doing interviews with major publications. An anonymous young adult who has recovered from ROGD can't compete w/ all these cute kids.

I never considered putting my kid in front of a TV camera when she IDed as trans. Not because I was embarrassed, but because she needed time & space to figure herself out. She was obviously struggling. Being a celebrity would have introduced more stressors into her life.
