Joe Crowley calls himself pro-choice, but he didn’t always. He spent his first 5 years in Congress voting with Republicans to restrict abortion access. Most importantly, he voted for laws that permanently pushed abortion legislation to the right.

Predictably, the bill gave legal ground for further attacks on abortion rights, as well as dehumanizing pregnant people. Crowley says his voting record shows he’s pro-choice. We want to know how we’re supposed to forgive our representative for passing landmark anti-choice legislation. What does it mean to vote against new anti-choice laws when you helped establish the precedent they’re built on?

In this context, doesn’t it make sense that Crowley endorsed rabidly anti-choice Dan Lipinski this year? Joe doesn’t give a shit about women’s rights unless it’s politically expedient, and Lipinski is more useful to him.http://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/377660-dem-leaders-rally-behind-lipinski-in-tough-primary-contest …

If we sound angry it’s because we are. Women deserve more than Crowley, and if you want someone you can actually trust to prioritize women’s bodily autonomy, vote for @ocasio2018 on June 26th!
