Boudin is awful but going to the park with your kids in SF is exceptionally safe.
Life w kids mostly consists of other stuff. Parks become irrelevant if your kid’s school is across town, and it is not safe for them to take public transportation. Also, used needles on playgrounds don’t strike me as particularly safe.
