The far left don’t even realize that they agree with the alt-right’s central claim: that an evolutionary analysis of human biology leads to a reactionary worldview I’ll happily move on from that nonsense.

It's an interesting take, got any links for arguments against this view?

I haven’t, tbh I don’t think anyone in the far left have thought far enough to see it yet, everyone I see is still stuck on rejecting all of evo psych and psychometrics as reactionary nonsense on a kind of morally upright dismissal

I remember seeing some people calling themselves "hereditarian left", didn't catch on though.

some were calling themselves alt-left for a while (realist science + egalitarian values) but ppl started using that for antifa in reality very few people stay traditionally leftist once they become even mildly realistic about biology

I agree that it seems very tough to reconcile the two, but then again the academy is filled with leftist evolutionary biologists. Even in evopsych which is supposedly a reactionary field the liberals outnumber the cons/reactionaries by gigantic amounts: https://faculty.washington.edu/easmith/Lyle_&_Smith_2012.pdf …
