okay that doesn't rly answer the question since you are someone w/ leftwing views who isn't part of the organized movement
I've argued in the past that many ppl who are on the radical right (i.e. not just right-leaning moderates) have been beaten up pretty badly by modern society:https://quaslacrimas.wordpress.com/2017/02/01/recipe-for-reaction/ …

that's to be expected, you recruit resistance to an injury from the victims. so if you say "weirdos" instead of sociopaths, maybe you're right
-
and fringe political parties everywhere attract goofballs, not pragmatists (see eg Japan)
-
But I've seen the psych traits that correlate with L/R and the R has less exposure to that problem

True. Alienation and societal atomisation probably contribute. I sometimes think about why Anton Lundin Pettersson attacked the school in Trollhättan here in Sweden. Supposedly he was a bit of a loner, and he seems to have been filled with much frustration.

An other example of an anti-immigrant vigilante is John Ausonius https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Ausonius …

I think none of these men to be ideological in the same way that for example Rote Armee Fraktion, Anders Breivik, or al-Qaeda are. These men seem to have been against immigration but none of them seem to have had a coherent plan for how their actions would get them what they want

I keep coming back to the sword. It can't be *that* hard to get a weapon in Sweden. The muzzies can easily get grenades, for example. They used to have universal conscription! This is some Don Q sheeit.
-
Well, I guess most of the weapons are in the hands of organised crime. Most grenade attacks have probably been perpetrated by gangs. Conscripts and members of Hemvärnet are not allowed to store their personal weapons at home these days.
-
But are there really no weapons in circulation? Sweden isn't China
-
I'm not very knowledgeable about these things. I'm not saying that there are no weapons in circulation, but I suspect there are obstacles to obtaining them for people outside certain circles. Even criminals probably don't want everyone and their grandmother having access.
