I actually don't think it's a great idea to over-interpret the trinity. God certainly reflects all of Creation in his attributes, and we are in his image, but we don't know what that means precisely

To seek to understand all 3 persons of the Trinity is the most vital of all metaphysical inquiry into the nature of God. Even if we cannot truly comprehend the form of this singular Essence of 3 persons, we can at least understand his attributes.
