Within the Trinity we see the full expression of possible human virtue. The Holy Spirit encompasses all of the feminine attributes as he is silent, not drawing attention to himself, and is subservient to God the Father in executing his dictates and caring for his Children.

The catholics do not hold the sola scriptura doctrine and at some level I agree. However any study of Scripture shows us how limited it is in its breadth as it only provides the absolutely bare minimum of what is NECESSARY

The Sin of the Gnostics was that they conditioned salvation on their possession of this "secret knowledge" rather than on Faith. Even to that point, the Scriptures of the Old Testament and the Gospel, the simple message of Christ carried out by the Apostles is what's Necessary

But the Scripture is only the Starting point for the Church, it is up to the Church to complete the Understanding.
