You know that we’re just talking about a gay woman here and not Catholic priests or Penn State football coaches… Right? I think your hatred has crossed and into a wonderfully ignorant territory.

people who openly live sinful lifestyles have no right to work at schools which raise godly children. (Duh.)

I’ll assume you’re referring to your Christian god? Public schools do not raise “godly” children, they aim to educate not indoctrinate. I’ll also assume you refer to sin by what the Bible has to say? That means nothing.

When you use “duh” like that, at least use it for something that is factually representative. Sin is not an applicable term with absolute meaning. To me, it means nothing. To other religions or sects of your own religion, what is sinful and not sinful could be entirely different.

It does not take a smart person to realize that the q is not whether the sin of X is equal to the sin of Y, but whether the sin of X is compatible with the mission of their employer

It does not take a smart person to know that that is very basis of discrimination. Imagine a Mormon firing a catholic because they don’t believe Christ came to America. Or a Muslim firing a Lutheran Mohammed is not their profit.

That sentence makes very little sense. Imagine a gay man or woman firing a straight man or woman for being straight... because they’re sexual orientation dictates their cultural beliefs. Wouldn’t that be absurd?

if you were, say, running a nambla chapter and you were afraid a straight "ally" might narc on you to the feds, would you hire him?

You are really stuck on pederasty. If someone is openly running a NAMBLA chapter, then they’re an open pederast. That means they are openly committing a felony. That person should be reported to the feds. It’s pretty simple.

no, nambla exists, it is still legal (although 100% of its members are probably engaged in activities that are non-legal) are you noticing that you have lots of opinions grounded in an illusory view of the world, and when i point out the falsehood you change the topic?

Never changed the subject. You did by bringing pederasty in to the conversation. To be a member of NAMBLA is legal, but to engage in pederasty or pedophilia is not. I remember reading this vice article: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.vice.com/amp/en_us/article/7bd37e/whatever-happened-to-nambla …. Really delves into the fall of NAMBLA in public.

nambla is a legal organization with an organizational structure, finances, etc. And it nicely illustrates why ppl might hire employees with affinities for mission of org

(strange thing tho is that you aren't backing down on your original mistaken belief that nambla is illegal, even tho it's not really germane to the point of the example)

Never said NAMBLA itself was illegal. Said that if a was openly running a chapter, then they’re an open pederast and should be reported to feds. Perhaps I should not have said they’re openly committing a felony ‘cause that’s not always the case.

neither running nambla itself nor running a local chapter would be a felony, as you claimed it was. Idc, just noting that your worldview is infested with errors. Curious 🤔

Curious as to why you’re not actually reading my words and are stopping to assume one thing again. Never said it was illegal to be a member or run a part of. How is my worldview infested with errors? You believe homosexuality is a sin. Based on what?

And the very fact that you are attempting to equate pederasty with homosexuality is a massively limited way of seeing the world. Pederasty had nothing to do with the headline or the story at all.
