The Roman persecutions of Jews in Asia Minor were (a) reluctant and (b) at least in part the result of pharisee-christian conflicts (result: pharisees try to get traditional jewish exemption from idolatry stripped from christians)
The riots in Alexandria got really bloody too But (I am guessing you kno the history) after the Roman conq of Ptolemaids there was a sweetheart exemption for Biblical monotheism that stayed in place even after the 70s
