      Either they had a novel and powerful military tech or they didn't. If they did, it would have spread to the Near East very fast (numerous connections between steppe and Near East). They would have also tried to conquer the rich Near East first, not poor villages in Europe

      agreed, that is anthony’s view on what happenes to cucuteni archaeology shows strafing with arrows, hit and run tactics that don’t work against cities or over v long distances
