The problem is not reality, but the models.
Quantum physics models are pretty unrealistic in many ways, which is why they don't work in a lot of situations.
Every model is, obviously, unrealistic. But every model is also useful. We just need to sort out where.
What would happen hypothetically speaking, if gravity waves went through the double slit experiment?
