Agree. I HATE being a homeowner.
So I own a home, its great location, great views, lots of extras...but I wonder sometimes that home ownership isn't all that it was cracked up to be. How do the rest of you feel?

I love our home. My husband and I downsized 12 yrs ago after all the kids (10) were out of the nest. I do ALL the gardening, pruning, etc., and I love it.

The majority of homes are overpriced. Most times better off renting.

For my family, after living in our home for 12 years, then losing our income it was our "saving grace". We sold it at a large profit because the market was hot. We rent now, send our son to college and hubby started a business all from sale.

So true. Chores become more challenging with the aches and pains of jobs to be done and I can't afford tradesmen so I take my time, a l-o-n-g time now. But it's mine!
