i never want to be alarmist but they didnt evacuate santa rosa city wide because we have 175k people and it would have caused mass chaos. have a feeling theyre doing the same for chico. if i was in chico i would pack my shit now and get the hell out of there #campfire

We know this from the
#TubbsFire — parked at our door, ready to go. Lived this 7 days before evacuating to Paradise, ironically.pic.twitter.com/t1yBRaOChz

#TubbsFire still has me packed and ready for the most part, 13 months later -
Girl, I should take a photo of the bags still stuffed with my family portraits & wall photos under my bed. I still haven’t removed them from the bags & put them back.

Same with my parents. They live on Annadel border. So weird to go over there, the last year all our family photos have been off the wall in boxes behind a couch with our photo albums and other sentimentals ready to go. I think many people are still living like this

These photos are from up there before evacuation. We drove to check on a friend’s home who was out of town—pic.twitter.com/CmBUz9Wmhb

This is why I love twitter! Thats my parents’ street
They live at the end of the Pepperwood cul de sac. -
Holy crap! I love it up there so much. And the park! Hello

-
Right? Their backyard is literally just the park. I was only 11 when we moved in (now 26)...All the hikes up to Ilsanjo, looking at wildflowers...those few days we thought it was all gone were the worst. I love a good online support system!
