Haven't read enough Deleuze to confirm but this is a really interesting hypothesis; maybe lots of "continental philosophy" consists of undergrad level math translated to verbal intelligence.
It's not complicated that Marx is basically an algebraist, maybe this generalizes a lot.

It makes me wonder how much of what's credited to Deleuze is just basic ideas like feedback loops, or even just the mental image of paths in phase space, explained for people who never understood first semester calculus.
