Meditation masters take long, aimless walks, with no particular relation to their (body)mind, as long and as often as they have time for, and it’s unwasted time; it’s time well spent, in terms of their values and goals and hopes and dreams, as it were.

feels like there is a huge opportunity for therapy hikes. monkey mind is distracted keeping you moving, blood flowing and energized, game over if the suns out. plus don’t have to maintain eye contact
I think I literally just solved my meaning crisis by going on a walk in the forest and talking to myself out loud and occasionally taking notes on a tiny notepad I carried in my hand

short walks stopped doing anything for me and i fell into despair a bit but turns out *long* walks still feel great. i’ve been out here maybe 2 hours and feeling better than i have in weeks but it took like an hour to really get started
