running into a bizarre tetris effect thing where playing around with GPT-3 and DALL-E 2 makes other presumably human-generated text and images on the internet feel more like they might've been AI generated if they're sufficiently confusing

🕵️ A big part of reading comprehension is inferring context, which requires forming a basic mind model of the writer. There are limits to how much sense something can make, but nonsense is a far bigger search space.

I'm kind of starting to automatically assume that if there's a piece of really pretty-looking art shared in my feed, it's by DALL-E.
"Oh, this was drawn by a human? Didn't expect that".

Same. After playing with DALL-E I immediately suspected AI generation when I saw a picture. Went away after a few days.
