it’s a little disappointing about lisbon that i can walk into a grocery store and feel like i basically walked into an american grocery store with slightly more fish. but like the same magazines, the same packaging… same kinds of ads on the street… very little culture shock

the only seafood i eat is salmon so mostly idk. i’ve had some pretty good salmon but i don’t get the sense it’s what they’re known for
You have to go for cod. Dishes to try: bacalhau à Gomes de Sá. Bacalhau com natas is also great. Bacalhau à largareiro will likely shock your palate. And pastéis de bacalhau would be fun to eat!
