Still I think your concept is opposite to the entire idea of the white canvas show!
For one, tech plays a smaller role rather than larger. Second tech just went wrong in it.
It's a pessimistic outlook, when the request was for it to be optimistic.

i think my vision of it is that the endings should be basically optimistic, as in yeah there can be hard challenges but we can overcome them and flourish, so this checks out to me!
As a viewer I would be repulsed by the idea that to flourish we must give up technology. Seems anti-progress.
