if you’re of a spiritual bent it can be useful epistemic self-defense to learn a little physics so you can debunk the nonsense garbage that spiritual people who don’t know any physics say about physics. physics absolutely does not say that anything is “instantly connected”

idk, I would push back against “obviously” me and my degree with the word physics on it reads “everything in the universe is instantly connected” and is like… ‘I don’t remember if that’s literally true, seems plausible, I vibe w it in spirit’ (physics minor + research past)

For what it’s worth I suspect I agree with the spirit of what you’re getting at here! No, I do not like the linked article… I get skeezy vibes off it. Just, unfortunately your exact example of what “physics absolutely does not say” is something I’d debate u on :P
