slowly painstakingly learning that if i feel overwhelmed by having like 15 things on my plate i can literally just lie down and not-look-at-a-screen and wait - for over an hour if necessary - until one of the things feels doable and then do it

it turns out that “try to force myself to do the thing right now, fail, procrastinate for 2 weeks” is actually much slower than “wait 5-100 minutes until the thing feels doable” even though the second feels like i’m being way too luxurious about time

literally just just sit there and do nothing until you get bored and you're like, "oh". the trick is no screens or anything 𝒾𝓃𝓉𝑒𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓉𝒾𝓃𝑔
