and i'm out of attempts for today. tentatively i have no idea how to get DALL-E 2 to consistently generate good anime-style pictures. based on what some of the bad attempts look like this might be partly an issue of lots of amateur fanart in the training data?

Perhaps asking for drawings by specific artists (Akira Toriyama, Naoko Takeucho, Tite Kubo, Kentaro Moira, etc)

oh interesting! i have no idea if enough anime images are tagged by artist for that to work but worth a shot with toriyama at least, maybe also someone like osamu tezuka or junji ito...
