short walks stopped doing anything for me and i fell into despair a bit but turns out *long* walks still feel great. i’ve been out here maybe 2 hours and feeling better than i have in weeks but it took like an hour to really get started

I went for 4 hr walks regularly in 2020. IME the first 90 minutes always felt like a slog/long warmup, but after that, I was beholden to the rhythm and it would carry me as long and far as we willed.
