i think this is why AI safety is doomed theres an entire industry of people devoted to preventing ppl from and making AIs that say the n word. literally AI researchers fear this more than paperclip maximizers if you look at their actual behavior and one guy said naw 4chan time twitter.com/SCPantera/stat…

idk if it's you who posted this but i remember seeing someone talking about how p much all AI (both real and hypothetical) fears are some sort of shadow; threatens to automate your job and turn into a paper clip, threatens to make porn / hyperracism / political hyperscissors, etc

I think, at least for some people, there's a kind of class anxiety to it too, the fear of the compliant machine underclass revolting.
